I had the chance with 60 other expats to visit the Korean Sool Festival. It was an event hosted to promote Korean alcohol. Directly, in the beginning, our tour guide explained to us that in Korea are more than 2000 different alcohols, but their market share is so small that most people only now the green bottle Soju and Makgeolli. Did you know that there are so many different types?
During our time at the exhibition, we had the chance to taste a lot of those different drinks. The most were surprisingly tasty, of course, some drinks were quite special so not anybody liked them but it was amazing to try them, for e. g. cinnamon Soju, Korean wine, traditional Makgeolli, etc.
I had a really nice afternoon and can anyone recommend visiting this Festival next year.
Thanks to Funday for the great opportunity.
