Even though I have been to the Seodaemun Prison many times, I continue to be impressed with the history preserved at that place. Indeed, every time I visit feels like a truly unique experience and the Food & History Tour was no exception. What I liked the most about that program was how it managed to incorporate pop culture (indie band concert) into the historical context without ruining the atmosphere. Another point that I was fascinated with was the vivid performance of the actors who portrayed the independence activists and the prison staff.  I am sincerely looking forward to a similar initiative to participate in.
